UpSkillet is a meal-planning app designed to simplify the process of discovering, organizing, and preparing meals. The core focus of the UX/UI design was to create a seamless and engaging user experience that caters to both novice and experienced home cooks. The design process began with user research to identify pain points in existing meal-planning apps, such as cluttered interfaces, limited customization options, and poor recipe organization. With these insights, I developed a clean, intuitive layout that allows users to easily browse recipes, plan meals, and create shopping lists with just a few taps.The UI design features a warm, inviting color palette with clear typography and visually distinct icons that guide users through the app effortlessly. Emphasis was placed on accessibility, ensuring that the app is user-friendly for individuals with varying levels of tech-savviness. The UpSkillet interface is responsive across devices, providing a consistent and enjoyable experience whether accessed on a smartphone, tablet, or desktop. This project allowed me to blend creativity with functionality, resulting in a user-centered design that enhances the cooking experience from start to finish.
